United States show interest in the SPECIAL-project |

The project member Kerstin Lönnström was invited to make a presentation of SPECIAL at The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Alpha Iota State, Michigan´s 70th State Convention at Kalamazoo Center on May 2-4, 2008.
- Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was founded on May 11, 1929 in Austin, USA.
- The name is a combination of the initials of three Greek words meaning “key women teachers”
- Has 130 000 members, 3000 chapters in 77 state organizations in 15 countries.
- Mission Statement: The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
The International Programme Office for Education and Training, a Swedish government agency under the Education and Culture Department, supported Kerstin Lönnström to participate in this convention.
